Q: How does it work?
A: The Easy Off Makeup Cloth is made up of millions of super fine fibres (about 150-300 times finer than a horse hair) that work to pick up all product and dirt from the hair & skin. It is also antibacterial as each fibre is so small that it’s almost impossible for bacteria to live.
Q: Is it just a microfibre cloth?
A: Nope, not at all. It’s a particular blend of polyester that’s woven in a special way and at a set length to effectively & quickly remove makeup product.
Q: Do you need to use soap/shampoo or is there any built into the cloth?
A: No. The cloth is designed to work just with plain water. Warm water is ideal however cool water is just as effective.
Q: How do I clean it?
A: I recommend washing it prior to it’s first use and then after each show. Once you’ve used it simply throw it in the washing machine with your other items that need washing. Make sure you pop it back in it’s bag and back in your show kit so it’s ready for your next event.
Q: Does it work on all horse makeup’s?
A: I tested it with every brand of horse makeup that I could get my hands on and it worked incredibly well. For heavier/stronger makeups I would recommend using the cloth with warm water if you can.
Q: Will makeup stain the cloth?
A: Depending on the brand makeup you use and how much you apply as well as the laundry liquid you use, the cloths may become stained over time. For heavily soiled cloths I recommend washing the cloth with soap & water in the sink and/or soak in a stain remover before laundering. However staining will not impact the effectiveness of the cloth.
Q: What colour should I buy?
A: If you prefer to see the makeup coming off on the cloth, but don’t mind that the cloth may become visibly stained over time, I’d recommend the blue cloth. If you don’t need to see the makeup on the cloth to see that it’s working and would prefer that your cloth remain looking pristine for longer, then I would recommend the black cloth.
Q: Is the cloth tested on animals?
A: Well, yes, because it’s for animals, but it is 100% cruelty free. HOWEVER I did test it on myself and a few friends & family members for several weeks first and only then, once I was absolutely sure that I loved it and it worked did I then test it on my horses. Absolutely no animals were harmed in the testing of this product, in fact my horse enjoyed having his face wiped with the cloth because it’s so soft.
