About Us

Excel Equine was started in Southland by Tracie and Grant Beasley and spent 4 wonderful years supporting the Southland Equestrian Community, followed by one year in Taupo after their move north. Excel Equine returned south again to Gore in March 2022 when it was purchased by Suzanne Black. 

Suzanne and her partner Kieran live on a lifestyle block near Gore, where Suzanne owns a Physiotherapy Private practice and works her day job as a physiotherapist and Kieran runs his own massage therapy business. 

Suzanne is a keen eventer and show jumper as well as participating in the local A&P shows. Her team of 4 horses (Colton, Cass, Rocky & Lakoda) keeps her busy and they are testament to the use of the wonder product range that Excel Equine sell. 

Excel Equine are Exclusive NZ distributors for the Performa Ride Riding tights and apparel that have proved very popular since they have been in NZ. The retail side of the business includes the above products as well as the  Dynavyte , Vetpro, Nettex, HSE, NTR, Four Flax and Pro grip studs ranges along with some one off products from other suppliers we have found along the way. 

All of our products are available to purchase online 24/7 or you can contact us to make an appointment to visit and try on at our property near Gore.
